One room, all ages, no performance
We start together — all ages, in one room. There’s music, there’s coffee, there’s usually a bit of noise. After the first part of the service, children and young people head off to KidZone for their own thing, and the rest of us stay for the talk — usually a passage of the Bible, opened up and worked out for ordinary life — and time to respond.
It’s contemporary, it’s participatory, and it’s not a performance. Some Sundays that means singing — worship, in words most people can follow without a church background. Some Sundays it means writing something down, moving, praying with someone, or just sitting.
It’s a Christian service and we’re not coy about that: we sing, we pray, we read the Bible, and the talk is about Jesus. You’re welcome here whatever you currently make of him — including nothing at all.
We don’t clock-watch, but the service usually runs about 90 minutes — 10:30 until around 12. Most people stay on afterwards for a drink and a chat. If you need to slip away, slip away — nobody will mind.
What to expect if it’s your first time
The honest version, so nothing catches you out.
You don’t have to believe any of it to be here. Plenty of people are still working out what they think.
Come as you are. Jeans are fine. So is anything else.
You don’t have to sing, say anything, give anything, or sign anything.
If you’d rather sit at the back and watch, that’s genuinely fine.
Children are welcome in the room for as long as you want them there.
Someone will say hello. Nobody will corner you.
KidZone
Our provision for 0–12s, running most Sundays. After we’ve started together, children head off for songs, stories, craft and fun pitched just for them.

What time is the Sunday service?
Every Sunday at 10:30am, for about ninety minutes, then tea, coffee and cake. If you’re running late, come in whenever you arrive — nobody will make a thing of it.
Where in Marston Moretaine do you meet?
In the school hall at Forest End (Marston Moreteyne VC School), Great Linns, Marston Moretaine, MK43 0DD. Come into the rear car park — that’s where everyone arrives.
Is there parking?
Yes. Use the rear car park on Great Linns. There’s level access throughout the building and an accessible toilet.
Can I bring my children?
Yes. We start all together, then KidZone runs most Sundays for 0–12s — songs, stories and craft pitched just for them. Children are welcome to stay in the room with you for as long as you like, and everyone working with children is DBS-checked and safeguarding-trained.
Do I need to be a Christian, book a place, or dress up?
No to all three. You don’t have to believe any of it, sing, say anything, give anything or sign anything. Jeans are fine. If you’d rather sit at the back and watch, that’s fine too.
Is it accessible for wheelchair users?
Yes — step-free, level access into the hall, an accessible toilet, and parking on site. If there’s anything that would make the morning easier for you, tell us before you come and we’ll sort it.
